Coram Deo 2026: A Personal Invitation from Kevin DeYoung

Dear Brother Pastor,

I could not have been more pleased with the way the Lord blessed us at the inaugural
Coram Deo Pastors Conference over a year ago. It was also a wonderful time this past
February at the Pastors Workshop with John Piper. So, it is with great expectation, that I
want to invite you to the second Coram Deo Pastors Conference in 2026. This event is
hosted by Clearly Reformed and Christ Covenant Church, where I have the privilege of
serving as senior pastor.

We look forward to once again filling our sanctuary with nearly 2,000 pastors and church
leaders at Christ Covenant Church in Matthews, North Carolina, on March 17-19, 2026.
Our aim remains the same: we want to strengthen pastors and church leaders (and their
wives, if that would benefit some couples). Our prayer—and we really have people
praying—is that everyone who attends the conference will leave feeling encouraged, edified,
inspired, equipped, and recharged for faithfulness in ministry.

We have deliberately tried to organize the conference with three kinds of messages in mind:
expositional sermons, history/theology lectures, and messages that address current “hot
topics.” The three panels will follow the same pattern. We hope this approach enables the
conference to cover a variety of topics while also being clear about what the various
messages are trying to accomplish.

In the weeks ahead, we will get more information on the website about texts, topics, and
panels. For now, however, we can let you know that we are thrilled with the men who have
agreed to teach and preach for us next year: John Piper, H.B. Charles Jr., Ligon Duncan,
Chad Van Dixhoorn, Brooks Buser, Jason Helopoulos, and Andrew Walker. I will also
be speaking and leading the panels.

We continue to believe there is much to be gained by hosting the conference at a local
church (even if that means our space is limited). We will still have a great bookstore,
exhibitors, sponsors, and the “feel” of a conference. But we also hope for the “feel” of the
church. The music will once again be led by Nathan Clark George, the pastor of worship at
Christ Covenant, as he collaborates with other musicians from inside and outside our
church.

I love being a pastor, and I love pastors, which is why I hope you will consider joining us at
the Coram Deo Pastors Conference in 2026. Spring will be in the air in Charlotte, and we
pray that the Spirit will be at work as well.
